March 1, 2023 |

Few lines about Venkatesh C.R –  CEO of founder of Dot Com Infoway

Venkatesh C.R. is the founder of Dot Com Infoway, which has been recognized for its outstanding mobile app development, web development, and marketing services. He is also one of the co-founders of Magzter Inc., a rapidly rising cross-platform digital magazine store.    Known among his colleagues for coining the saying, "Everything is possible, especially the impossible," his personal beliefs and ideals play a vital role in how he successfully leads his company toward achieving every goal and uplifts everyone around him with his infectious enthusiasm. And true to his adage, his time as Dot Com Infoway leader is replete with memorable, bordering on fantastic, instances of hurdles turning into opportunities and periods of rapid growth.   He’s not without his share of weaknesses, though, as he, more often than not, might find it a herculean challenge to lift his gaze from his smartphone’s screen once he gets hooked to a mobile game. He's also a travel fanatic and is always excited to meet new people and form lasting connections with them.      dci_ceo

1. Tell us about your company in brief.

My flagship company, Dot Com Infoway, has been providing IT services for two decades now. That said, the comprehensive collection of solutions for mobile, web, and digital marketing we offer is a direct result of our relatively long mileage in the industry.    Since our main goal is to be among the top IT companies in India and the world, we rely on a multi-pronged approach to achieve it. By this, we mean that we not only provide specific results- and innovation-driven IT services but also take the initiative to actively part in an attempt to solve the most relevant issues of the day.

2. How do you describe your mobile app development team in terms of experience and expertise?

I can confidently say that they are a seasoned and well-synchronized group, considering the fact that most of them have been working together since Dot Com Infoway's initial years. I selected each member myself based on my own ever-reliable criteria of attitude and aptitude.    Their numerous works, which happen to form a vast bulk of Dot Com Infoway company portfolio, in equally various brands and industry verticals speak for themselves and readily affirm their experience and expertise. Despite their remarkable milestones over the years, they are still always open to learning and mastering their craft. And that, to me, is one of the keys to our success.

3. How would you drive your team to meet the technology demands of 2020 – 2021?

By continuing what we have already been doing through the years. Besides keeping the team on top of the latest technologies, we also consistently pay attention to trends. It’s already a given that the demand for services particularly in the mobile industry will only balloon further, so it’s almost a no-brainer that we should focus our efforts in honing our services in that category. In short, we’ll probably just have to increase, if not double, our efforts to meet the slowly but surely growing demand.

4. How do you help your clients in choosing the right yet profitable platform for app development?

One of the services we offer is app consultation. Essentially, it involves discussing the client’s business idea, which we will, in turn, conduct in-depth research and market study on. This way, we are able to formulate the best strategy for not only app development but its subsequent marketing as well.    We acknowledge that every business has a unique goal, so we often base our strategies around it first and foremost. Even so, we are also well aware of what works for any given scenario or app type, so we also actively advise them about what route will most likely give them the most ROI. Of course, there are a lot of variables involved in this. This is also why we prefer to work closely or as a team with our clients.

5. What all services do you think you would add to your offerings in 2020 – 2021?

If we’re going to be offering new services, they’ll probably center around novel premium technologies like AI, Blockchain, and AR/VR. We have, in more ways than one, already integrated all these new technologies, so it only makes sense for us to fully capitalize on what they can bring to the table. Also, as I’ve said, we normally keep track of trends and adopt what appears to be the most viable and, of course, profitable.

6. How do you scheme your pricing model? How do you fix your budget?

We have two clear business models: Project-Based and Dedicated Team. The former follows a more fixed-price model that we normally advise for projects where the client knows and informs us exactly what he wants, his requirements, specifications, and preferred schedule. The latter, on the other hand, is a more complete service since the client will be assigned the dedicated team that will pretty much fulfill everything for him. As should be clear from the nature of these two models, they are based largely on the client’s needs.    As for fixing the budget, we look at a load of factors that extend beyond the client's requirements, like the type of app development and app features, cost forecasts, salaries, to cite a few.

7. Define your future perspective and vision regarding new technologies like Artificial Intelligence, Chatbots, IoT apps, Augmented Reality apps, and Virtual Reality apps?

I think that most of them will bring about the most significant changes in the industry. A few may even lead to the conception of the greatest innovation in the history of man. I’m pretty much sure of this since the sky’s practically the limit for most of these technologies.

8. What are your favorite industry verticals for 2020 – 2021 and why?

Given the fact that we’re facing a global pandemic, Healthcare is almost an automatic choice for me. I truly believe that tech can play one of the most pivotal roles in mitigating, if not altogether stopping, its effects. Next is Education, probably because I have a soft spot for it. I believe its quality needs to be maintained and for students and teachers to have a convenient and effective way to collaborate, seeing as most schools are also suffering from the pandemic.    Entertainment also remains on my list for obvious reasons: people are always keeping an eye out for something that will tickle and tweak their senses and imagination.

9. What product/service and in which category you would like to build/offer to establish or redefine your authenticity and expertise in your operational domain?

I would like to build a platform that can help connect tutors and students. It is the need of the hour and I would love to create such a platform. I think that finding the best way to address the direst problems in this area of education -- as brought about by the pandemic --  will allow me to establish that very “authenticity and expertise” you mentioned.    By then, I’m sure that it won’t be just a minor milestone, because I will have taken care of a new, pressing problem. Come to think of it, the pandemic has, more or less, forced society to issue a call for pioneers. It’s up to us whether we’ll take up the mantle and carve a path towards not only success but to ensure the survival of our basic institutions. I intend to answer that call and make my own lasting mark.
